Friday night our family attended Jocelyn's fast pitch softball game. This is Jocelyn' s first year with the girls... up until now she played co-ed Little League baseball. 
She is doing awesome and we are really proud of her. Her team came up against a 9 yr old pitching wonder who was throwing the ball across the plate at high school speed. Our team really tried to get a piece of the ball but, not a single girl hit off this pitcher.
The girls out in the field were pretty bored. After the game, one of the girls was talking about a mouse that was running around out in left field. She thought it was pretty cool. "You weren't afraid?" I asked "no way! there were grasshoppers and beetles out there too." she said
To which JOlie appropriately said, "EWWWWWWW!!!"
"You're just a girly girl" this girl said to Jolie as she walked away.
Jolie stuck her little fist into the air and started shaking it , proclaiming at the top of her lungs, " I am a POWERFUL girl!"
That's right, babe.... and don't you ever forget it!
