As the preparedness specialist in my ward, I have an opportunity to plan monthly preparedness classes, maintain a preparedness blog and share food storage and preparedness resources with the members of our ward. Our April preparedness meeting last night was planned to help motivate us to prepare for death. Now, that might seem like a morbid topic, one that many people refuse to talk about with their spouses and loved ones because it seems like tempting fate to discuss or plan for it.
After listening to Lori Crum and Sharon Allen speak of their experiences, both whom have lost their husbands recently, there were plenty of things I made a mental note to discuss with my husband. Experience truly is the best teacher and I am so thankful to these ladies for sharing theirs with us.
Carla Mannes and Cecelia Mullins from Bunker Family Funeral also presented very valuable infromation and STRONGLY and lovingly encouraged each of us to pre-plan funeral arrangements. Those of you who have been through this process know that making those decisions when your heart is grieving and your brain and body are numb are not nearly as ideal as making them NOW, when you can logically and prudently think things through.

So, for those of you who did not get to benefit first hand from this presentation, please, call CeCe (Cecelia Mullins) at Bunkers and go talk. It will be well worth your time. She is not a hard sales person... and will not talk you into anything you do not want to do.
So, take my advice, one friend to another and talk about it, make plans ( http://www.buildingmyark.blogspot.com/) , and go see CeCe. 480-964-8686
