You've Had a Birthday, Shout Hooray!

Janet shows off her surprise B-day gift from mom and dad: Pokeman cards with new card collecting organizers. That's right folks... they are back!!!

So... today was Janet's 11th Birthday. Like most moms.. it is so hard for me to believe that the time has gone by so quickly. Although, had you asked me how fast her childhood was going when she was 2 and 3 yrs old, I would have told you not quick enough! We absolutely love Janet. She has been our experimental child- the one we have had to learn to be parents on. Even though we make alot of mistakes, Janet has still managed to grow into an amazing young woman. Here are a few of my favorite things about Janet:

1. She has a natural talent for music. She loves to play both the piano and her viola. She is a very self-motivated music student. I rarely have to remind her to practice.

2. She has the most beautiful hair I have ever seen.

3. She is very mature for her age. She has always been incredibly responsible and organized.

4. She is a great example (most times) to her younger sisters.

5. She is smart. She loves to read and gets excited about learning new things.

6. She is a little kooky. She likes to goof around with her friends and just be silly- she knows how to just be a kid.

7. She has a GREAT sense of fashion. THANKFULLY! She helps everyone else in the house look good.

8. She is fun to hang out with. I love our one on one chats. She is funny, witty and charming.

9. She was born to be a leader. She has tenacity, good core values, she is honest, and she is a great friend. She has innovative ideas and her peers respect her.

10. She has the best qualities of both her parents and only a few of our bad qualities. She is an incredible person and we feel tremendously blessed to be her parents.
