Saturday afternoon we attended the Hale Centre Children's Theatre performance of Cinderella. EVERY play I have seen there has been outstanding and this was no exception. Check out the Theatre's website HERE.
The cast did an amazing job of involving the kids in the audience . They kept to the fairy tale but added a bunch of modern twists, lines, music clips, etc.. which made it exciting and fresh. The girls really really enjoyed themselves.
After the production, the cast stands out in the lobby so you can meet them, get autographs and take pictures. Jennifer was particularly drawn to the wicked stepsisters... imagine that.
The rest of us waited and waited for Cinderella to be free- Finally she was! She was as gracious as any princess could possibly be.
The girls were enchanted by her- all but Janet who was, inconspicuously eyeing Prince Charming. (Notice who got to stand closest to him in the picture)
My favorite line: Word to your Stepmother!
Congrats to the cast for an amazing performance!!!! We love you.
