The girls both played 2 games this week. So, if any of you are trying to find us and we are not at home... chances are we are probably at the ballpark. Seems like we are in for 3-4 games a week until the end of May.
Jennifer is playing T-ball for the first year. She likes it so far. It really is amusing to see all the children, regardless of what position they play, race for the ball yelling, " I gottit!"
She hits well and can throw the ball pretty straight . She is able to pay attention for most of the game, at least enough not to get hit in the head. She just got a new helmet, and we are looking for some good ideas on how to "girl it up" a little.
Jocelyn is on an awesome team this year. We got a great recommendation on the coach from several friends . He is awesome. No, Im not telling you his name, then all of you will want him to coach your kid and we are not sharing. So there!
She is a pretty decent fielder- but man, when she sets her mind to it, she puts some power behind the bat. This last game, she was 2 for 3 ( two doubles!).
Once she listened to her coach about keeping her feet still and her bat up, there was no stopping her.
