Mount Vernon was our last scheduled American History site in Washington DC
It was the home of our first president, George Washington.
It is difficult to describe the intense feelings of patriotism ...
Combined with a love of family, and devotion to God...
that so tangibly occupy this estate.
I am forever greatful that George Washington had faith in God
enough to believe that his inspired life helped form the basis of a nation
that provides the religious, personal and political freedom we enjoy today.
