Everyone knows my mom likes to make a REALLY BIG DEAL out of every holiday known to the free world. Frankly, it was easy to jump on that bandwagon... who wouldn't ? Great friends & family gathered, delicious food and AMAZING treats. Love it.
So, even though mom isn't here to initiate things.. we carry on the traditions as best we can. This year that meant exchanging valentines at Jo's house with brownines, chocolates, cupcakes and homemade wheat bread smothered in melted butter and agave syrup.
The Dillards wished all us older folk a "red hot" valentines with these lovely chewy fire balls.
After putting 3 in my mouth at once, chewing and swallowing.. I felt a little like this:

Phil and Andy got into a ridiculous contest to see how many they could eat at once. The record? 30.... yes 30!
