An Early Christmas Gift

Many people we know attend church during the Christmas season. As Christians, our thoughts focus on the Savior at the time we celebrate His birth.

Our family wants you to know we attend church too... not only at Christmas time, but to honor and worship the Savior throughout the year.

Those not of our faith sometimes find it difficult to accept parts of our religious beliefs..particularly the belief that God and Jesus Christ appeared to a young boy in 1830..parting the veil of darkness that had covered the earth for over a millenia.

Our Christmas gift to you is to share our testimony of the truthfulness of that message. Joseph Smith was a prophet. An instrument in the hands of God to restore the ancient gospel of Jesus Christ in it's fullness. God loves his children. He not only provided the Bible to guide us and direct us but inspired other ancient civilizations to keep records and bear testimony of the Savior. We are blessed to have one of those records today: The Book of Mormon.

If you have not read it, I encourage you to set aside your prejudice and with open heart read.
It will change your life. It is true.

Michelle - I am grateful for your testimony and the example you are to me. For many years your example has helped me get through the trials of my life. Even though we don't see each other often I love ya like a sister and am blessed that Marie found you! Have a very Merry Christmas!

Thank you for this beautiful post. And thank you for teaching me through not only your incredible Gospel Doctrine Lessons, but through your comments in RS and most importantly, through your example. We love you and your family. Thanks for the reminder of the reason we celebrate this sacred holiday.
